Manager – Presales (Medical Simulation)

Role Overview

The Presales Manager will lead high-impact demonstrations and training sessions across our portfolio of medical simulation products—ranging from foundational task trainers to advanced high-fidelity patient simulators. This role demands strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage senior healthcare professionals. The position involves extensive travel and close collaboration with the sales, tender, and product teams to drive successful presales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Demonstrations & Technical Enablement

  • Deliver engaging, clinically accurate demonstrations of medical simulators to prospective
    customers.
  • Customize demonstrations to highlight product capabilities, workflows, and specialty-specific
    use cases.
  • Provide technical expertise and simulation insights to support the sales team during
    customer meetings.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and coordinate with the tender team to prepare high-quality
    technical documentation.
  • Develop and tailor end-to-end simulation solutions and technical documents to meet
    customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to strengthen opportunities through product
    knowledge and technical validation.

2. Subject Matter Expertise

  • Maintain updated knowledge of clinical practices across key medical disciplines including medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, paediatrics, neonatology, obstetrics, and emergency/first responder care.
  • Stay informed on innovations in healthcare simulation and integrate emerging practices into demonstrations and training content.

3. Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights

  • Continuously monitor competitor offerings, pricing, positioning, and market strategies.
  • Develop counter-strategies and strong value propositions to support deal closures.
  • Create competitive sales tools such as battlecards, “why we win” documents, and tailored
    technical presentations.
  • Act as the internal expert on competitive landscape; conduct internal trainings and provide
    deal-specific support to the sales team.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clinicians, nurses, educators, and emergency responders.
  • Address customer queries with professionalism while providing expert technical and operational support.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the presales lifecycle.
  • Capture customer feedback and share insights with product development and sales teams to enhance offerings and strategies.

5. Travel & On-Site Support

  • Travel extensively across India and internationally for demonstrations, installations, and hands-on training.
  • Adapt delivery style and content to suit diverse clinical environments and learner groups for maximum impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Experience in simulation training, BLS/ACLS instruction, or similar clinical education programs is a strong advantage.
  • Broad clinical experience with working knowledge of procedures, protocols, and patient care workflows.
  • Proven experience in training delivery, preferably in healthcare simulation, medical education, or clinical skills development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality output within tight timelines.
  • High willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international).
  • Passion for advancing healthcare education, simulation technology, and patient safety.
