Ventilation Training and Support Specialist
As a Ventilation Training and Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive training, technical support, and service assistance to end-users of our Lung simulators, the world’s most advanced autonomous human lung simulator. This role requires expertise in ventilator manufacturing, understanding of patient ventilation, and proficiency in interpreting physiological data. You will engage with medical professionals, including anaesthesiologists, critical care specialists, neonatologists, and ventilator engineers, to ensure optimal utilization of our Lung Simulator in their training and research endeavours.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery:
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users on the functionality, operation, and advanced features of our Lung Simulators.
- Customize training programs to suit the specific needs and expertise levels of diverse end-users, including medical professionals and engineers.
- Provide hands-on training on how to create various simulated lung diseases and integrate our Lung Simulators with non-invasive and invasive ventilators.
Technical Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users’ technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and service requests related to our Lung Simulators.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, either remotely or through on-site visits, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users’ operations.
- Collaborate with the product development team to address recurring technical issues and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including medical professionals, researchers, and engineers, by providing exceptional support and guidance.
- Gather feedback from end-users regarding their experiences with our Lung Simulators, identifying areas for improvement and future development opportunities.
- Proactively communicate product updates, training opportunities, and best practices to ensure maximum value and satisfaction among end-users.
Case Creation and Customization:
- Assist end-users in creating customized simulation cases for training and testing purposes, leveraging the full capabilities of our Lung Simulators to replicate diverse patient scenarios.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their specific research objectives or training needs and tailor simulation parameters accordingly.
Travel and On-Site Support:
- Travel extensively, approximately 20 days per month, to provide on-site training, technical support, and service assistance to end-users across various locations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate diverse travel schedules and locations as per end-users’ requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical engineering, respiratory therapy, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in ventilator manufacturing, with a deep understanding of patient ventilation principles, ventilator operation, and interpretation of physiological data.
- Proven track record in customer service, technical support, or training delivery, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric approach, with a passion for building relationships and providing exceptional support to end-users.
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays, to deliver on-site training and support to end-users across different locations.
- Familiarity with medical simulation technologies and software platforms is desirable.
- Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement, staying abreast of advancements in ventilator technology and medical simulation.
